Privacy Policy

Last updated: 1 July 2026

Soumya FinEdge ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of every individual and business that engages with our services. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and what rights you have.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information that you provide directly when you:

  • Contact us — name, email address, phone number, company name, and the details of your enquiry via our website contact forms.
  • Use our compliance tools — the free compliance diagnostic wizard on our Services page collects entity type, turnover range, and compliance selections. This data is processed locally in your browser and is not transmitted to our servers unless you choose to contact us.
  • Upload documents (internal clients only) — GSTR-2B statements, purchase registers, and bank statements uploaded through our secure intake portal for reconciliation services.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To respond to your enquiries and provide the advisory services you requested.
  • To send you a confirmation email when you submit a contact form.
  • To process uploaded financial documents for GST reconciliation and compliance reporting (for engaged clients only).
  • To improve our website and services.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate our platform:

  • Resend(email delivery) — your name, email address, and enquiry details are transmitted to Resend solely to deliver transactional emails. Resend's privacy policy is available at resend.com/legal/privacy-policy.
  • Google Gemini API(document parsing, internal clients only) — uploaded financial documents are sent to Google's Gemini API for data extraction. Google's API data usage policy applies.
  • Vercel (hosting) — standard server logs (IP addresses, timestamps, request paths) are collected by our hosting provider.

4. Data Storage & Retention

  • Contact form submissions are stored in our email systems for as long as necessary to respond to and service your enquiry.
  • Uploaded financial documents are processed in memory and are not persistently stored on our servers after processing is complete.
  • Browser localStorage is used on the enquiries console page to display your submitted enquiries locally — this data never leaves your browser.

5. Your Rights

Under applicable Indian data protection laws (including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, once fully notified), you have the right to:

  • Request access to the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of your personal data.
  • Withdraw consent for data processing.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at info@soumyafinedge.com.

6. Cookies

Our website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. We do not use any third-party tracking scripts. Essential cookies may be set by our hosting provider (Vercel) for security and performance purposes.

7. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, secure HTTP headers (HSTS, CSP, X-Frame-Options), and rate-limited API endpoints. Financial documents uploaded through our intake portal are transmitted over TLS-encrypted connections.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Material changes will be noted by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
